Dina BENSAÏD

Dina began her musical career as a concert pianist. Graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris where she studied with Jacques Rouvier and Frank Braley.
His career in piano has led him to play as a soloist in European venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris or the Victoria Hall in London at the Salle Cortot in Paris, or even Sofa’s Bulgaria Hall. She collaborates with orchestras such as the Pasdeloup Orchestra, the London Chamber Orchestra or the Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, and performs under the direction of conductors such as Christian Vasquez, JeanClaude Casadesus, Marzena Diakun or Faycal Karoui and collaborates with artists such as Abdelrahman El Bacha, David Guerrier, Emanuelle Bertrand, Julien Victor Lafferrière, Raphaëlle Moreau, or Marc Coppey.
Dina trained as an orchestral conductor with Nicolas Brochot in Paris, then perfected with Jorma Panula and Martin Sieghart. In 2020, she is appointed
Assistant Conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, and works in this capacity with conductors such as Jean-Claude Casadesus, Hervé Niquet or Wolfgang Doerner.
Alongside this orchestra, she builds a solid repertoire of orchestras ranging from the great works of the repertoire, to operas and ballets, through creations. She has also conducted orchestras such as the Saint-Céré Festival Orchestra, the Budapest MÁV Symphony Orchestra and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Dina Bensaïd has received the First Prize in many international competitions, and is the first Moroccan to be selected to participate in the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium Music Competition.

FRANCE
First Prize of the International Competition for Conducting Orchestra in Prague, Pierre-Michel Durand performs at many festivals: Radio-France and Montpellier with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra, Besançon, May Musical de Florence, Flanders Festival, Lille Piano Festival... After having been an assistant at the Paris Opera, he is invited by the Orchestre Lamoureux, the Lorraine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ukrainian Philharmonic Orchestra... He recorded Petrouchka with the Czech Philharmonic.
Associate conductor of the Orchestre national de Lille for several seasons, he co-conducts with Jean-Claude Casadesus the Victoires de la Musique 2004. With the Orchestre Prométhée he created, he participates in the Musiques au Coeur d'Eve Ruggieri programmes on France 2 with Natalie Dessay, Joyce DiDonato, Felicity Lott, Patricia Petibon, Béatrice Uria Monzon, Roberto Alagna, Ludovic Tézier, Rolando Villazon... He has conducted many operas by Mozart, Donizetti, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Gounod, Offenbach, Ravel, Debussy... He has accompanied Pierre Amoyal, Gauthier Capuçon, Olivier Charlier, Marc Coppey, Augustin Dumay, Brigitte Engerer, Anna Fedorova, Hélène Grimaud, Gary Hoffman, Laurent Korcia, Misha Maisky, Paul Meyer, Xavier Phillips, Nemanja Radulovic...
He conducted the Verdi Requiem at the Arena in Nîmes, Carmen de Bizet at the Arnhem stadium, The Tribute to Pavarotti with Roberto Alagna at the Domaine de St Cloud, a Wagner Festival, L'Hommage à Maria Callas, Beethoven’s Symphony 9 at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes; It is regularly scheduled in Paris: Gaveau room with the Winners of Monte Carlo Music Masters, Pleyel room, Théâtre du Châtelet with the ballets Daphnis and Chloé, Cendrillon and Don Quichotte with the Wiener Staatsballett, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (Paris Opera Competition) and every season at the Philharmonie de Paris.
Renowned teacher, he teaches conducting in Paris at the PSPBB and the CRR where he is also director of the Department of Orchestra Training.
